Specific information about your account is a text away

Text Message Banking is a free service* to receive a text message for your account balance, make transfers, etc. when it is convenient for you. You can also set up text message alerts to be aware of your account activity and reminders.

What information can you get from a text?

  • Transfer funds to your primary account
  • Deactivate service

  • Low and/or high balance activity
  • Large withdrawal and/or deposit activity
  • Check cleared activity
  • Loan payment due and/or overdue reminder
  • Maturity date reminder
  • Personal message reminder

Sign Up for Text Message Banking & Alerts

  1. Login to online banking from a web browser on your desktop or mobile device.
    Note: Text message/SMS banking an only be initiated from our website, NOT our FCB Mobile app.
  2. Under the Account Services menu, choose Mobile Banking & Alerts.
  3. In the Alerts and Notifications section, confirm your email. You can also add your cell number and select Activate to continue.

  4. In the Mobile Verification Agreement pop-up window, enter the code that was sent to the number you provided and select Accept to continue.

  5. Setup alert types you want to receive.

  6. Text message banking will be set up automatically from completing
    the previous steps. Update this accordingly if you would like to set up transfers.

  7. Text commands to 454545 to receive account information.

Text commands:

  • Text BAL for primary balance
  • Text LAST for your last five transactions
  • Text TRANS to transfer funds to your primary account
  • Text STOP to deactivate service
  • Text HELP for help keywords

You’re all set! You can update these settings anytime within online banking.
