Merchant Credit Card Processing
By offering credit/debit cards as a payment option to your customers, you can:

Merchant Credit Card Services allows you to accept VISA®, MasterCard®, Discover®, and American Express® credit cards from your customers.
Through our association with a third-party processor, we can offer you these options:
- POS terminals
- Smartphone sales
- Internet sales
- The monthly fee is a percentage of sales (discount rate), plus passed-through card interchange fees.
- If a cardholder disputes a charge and is successful, the charge-back fee is $25.00.
Equipment and Set Up
As a merchant, you have a wide variety of choices in the equipment you choose to purchase. Depending on your business needs and the equipment you choose, the set up time is 5-10 business days. There is a one-time setup fee of $25.00.
The proceeds from your credit/debit card sales are deposited into your First Citizens deposit account within two business days of the transmission of the sale.
