Validate Transfer of Securities

A Medallion Signature Guarantee (MSG) is a certification stamp that validates your signature and authority with the transfer, sale, or liquidation of securities such as stocks or bonds.

Tips to Help You Be Prepared

Bring the following items to the bank:

  • Entire medallion stamp paperwork
  • Recent statement stating what the current value of the asset is
  • Valid, unexpired government ID
  • Any supporting documentation for the medallion stamp (varies with ever medallion stamp)

We offer this service to everyone at most of our locations, at no cost to our customers. We do not provide this service at our Mason City State Street location, but is available at our Mason City West location. No appointment necessary. Contact us with any questions.
